In 2007, Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) entered into a joint venture with Keppel Offshore & Marine (KOM) with the vision to establish a world-class shipyard in Qatar. Three years later, the nation celebrated a historic moment in Qatar’s maritime history as the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard was inaugurated by then Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, on 23rd November 2010.

Located within the shipyard complex, strategically close-by gas terminals and offshore activities in the Arabian Gulf, N-KOM is in an excellent position to service the needs of the marine and offshore industry.
